James joined Cidel in 2012. He is responsible for private wealth, institutional and third-party distribution channels.

James is an experienced financial services leader and draws on significant industry knowledge in his role as head of Canadian and Institutional business at Cidel.

Prior to joining Cidel, James held executive roles in the wealth management divisions of a large Canadian bank and a global bank’s Canadian and US operations. He is a CFA® Charterholder.

James volunteers as a Board Chair at the Child Development Institute, an organisation serving children, youth and their families through early childhood education and innovative programs in mental health. He was past chair of the investment industry trade association’s national wealth management committee.
